About the Author

SC Pang grew up in a small farming village, Shigen, in Southern China, and completed a formal secondary and tertiary education in Hong Kong before emigrating to Australia in 1978 for two main reasons as stated in the book. In spite of gradually losing his original culture he has never regretted the move.
